You may explore the desert best by jeep, allowing you to see the most beautiful sites in a couple of hours. We usually start our jeep tours from our camp, and stop at all of the famous sites of Wadi Rum such as Lawrence’s House, the Red Sand Dune, the Mushroom Stone, Barrah Canyon and the Um Fruth Rock Bridge, a natural rock arch.

During the trip you will see 2000 years old ancient Nabatean inscriptions, and we stop wherever you like to take your pictures. There are no pre-set departure times, we adjust the trip to your schedule. We offer tailor-made, private jeep tours where you have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking desert atmosphere at your own pace. However, if you are up to meeting interesting people, and you are not against saving some costs, you may share your jeep tour with other guests who happen to come on the same day. The price of a jeep tour is by car, and maximum number of people in one car is 6, so the price will be split proportionately. We cannot guarantee in advance this possibility, as there may always be cancellations, but we will always offer you the opportunity to share.

 Jeep Tour with Overnight stay

Me or one of my sons will meet you in at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center at 10 a.m. If you arrived to Wadi Rum driving your car, you can park your car safely at the parking lot of the Wadi Rum Visitor Center. We will take you to the camp by our 4X4 jeep, you can occupy your tent, and you will be invited to enjoy a traditional Bedouin tea before the beginning our tour.

We start our jeep trip from the camp. On our way, we shall stop to admire the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the red sand dunes. After crossing Wadi Um Ishreen, we will stop by the Infishia inscription, Lawrence’s house, the famous Umm Fruth Bridge, Burdah Bridge, and the Mushroom Stone, and last, we will reach the Al Barrah Siq where you can have a pleasant hike if you like - it is possible to hike a variety of different short routes.

After that, we go back to the camp for a light lunch with tea and water, or we will have lunch in the desert. In the afternoon, we continue down to the Al-Alamaiah Nabatean inscriptions, and we visit the former campsite of Lawrence of Arabia where you will see Lawrence’s face carved into a rock.

In the end of our tour, we shall settle down on a dune at the very same place where Matt Damon was planting his potatoes on Mars, where you can see an amazing desert sunset. Following the sunset, we will return to our Bedouin camp to enjoy a delicious traditional Bedouin underground barbecue dinner and a pleasant evening at the fire in our large tent.

The next morning after breakfast we will bring you back to Wadi Rum Visitor Center.
